CYCLISTS WELCOME Sparrowhawk Backpackers is a highly popular 2nd night stop for you all attempting the End2End cycle route. Recommended by CTC, and Cicerone guide, Section 2, across Dartmoor to Sparrowhawk, Moretonhampstead.
Plenty of space for repairing bikes and a secure shed. There are pubs, good beer/ food, within 3 mins walk along the road, if you're too weary to cater for yourselves! Co-Op is open 8am-9pm. if you need supplies.
Get together with some friends, kayaking, cycling, climbing, hiking or art group, family, for a weekend or a few days.
Kayak and Climbing is within Dartmoor National Park.
The season of Wild Walks, Wild Rivers and Wild Ponies!
With spring well on, it's a great opportunity to see Dartmoor, in it's wild state. Rushing rivers and waterfalls tumbling in great cascades, plenty of wind to blow the cobwebs away and stunning autumn colours in the forests.

Wild camping on Dartmoor for 1 or 2 nights is an opportunity not to be missed. Wake up next to a river and dip in (for the brave), or by a majestic tor. Hike independantly, or have a lift to a great spot. Wild camping is permitted almost anywhere on the open moor. Near Scorehill Stone Circle
